Incread overdraft application

I asked Penny, Client Consultant - Musgrave, if I could increase my overdraft to it's original limit of R50000.00. Notwithstanding the fact that my overdraft limit is secured by an endowment policy many-fold!?! She rep**** that my application would be considered once I had produced 3 months bank statements. I thought this odd seeing that said bank statements originate from absa anyway? I thought it especially odd seeing that the previous consultant, Eliana, on said basis and aforementioned security, plus a sound account, didn't require any further documentation whatsoever. She said the recommendation stems from the client's branch and the 'powers that be' respond accordingly.<br> In fact she informed me that such applications depend entirely upon the recommendations of the consultant concerned. In her case my application to increase my overdraft limit to R50000, on a diminishing balance some was approved almost immediately!
