Inconsiderate

So I got correspondence from Absa today telling me in BOLD letters (rude tone) that they have confirmed with their Home loans department that I was declined based on my affordability, that my monthly expenses are more than my income.They have not considered my Overtime and also not the rental income of the separate entrance R4500 I'm renting out which is already more than the monthly installment R3200 of the property I app**** for not to mention my wife's salary. The property I'm currently living in will also be rented outside i am the owner, so how is it possible that I am not unable to afford it?
