On the 19/11/2021, I rented a car and used my ABSA credit card as a holding deposit. The vehicle was returned on the 21/11/2021. The rental company sent the invoice on the 24/11/2021, and advised that the holding deposit has been released. However ABSA bank feels entitled that they should hold on to the money and not release it to my credit card. I’m sick and tired of this nonsense, I have been begging ABSA the entire year to stop holding my money against my will. If they don’t want me as they client they should write to me and advise. I haven’t had peace banking with ABSA, as I cannot plan with my money, as they do as they feel.
