I am so frustrated with Absa Bank since 28th June 2019. To date they have not released my salary which was paid into my ABSA cheque account. Absa has been telling me that I owe an overdraft which was in fact paid up April 2019. I have been sent from pillar to post. First the overdraft mistake was rectified and i was promised money will b in my account within 5 working days, today I am told it will take 3 to 4 weeks before the money is released into my account. Different stories each time i call them or I go to the branch. Todate, they have deducted R1 200 in bank charges, yet they still have not released the money into my account.I need my money and am closing this account.
