Incompetant Absa
I have a personal loan with Absa which has now been handed over due to minimum payments not being paid. Absa dismissed me in 2020 (could not meet ridiculous targets) during the Covid pandemic and I continued to pay my debts to Absa using my pension. This eventually ran out and I was unemployed so could not continue paying. I have since been employed again earning much less than I was earning at Absa and have called to make payment arrangements of what I can afford on my new salary. I AM NOT RUNNING AWAY!!!!!!! Now, I am being called by two separate law firms for collections. I have also been receiving calls at 08:00 on Saturday mornings while I am still sleeeping and also at 07:15 during the week while I am travelling. I received a call from a company today which I have never heard of wanting to to discuss my loan. I then advised that I have been dealing with Niewoudt Du Plessis as the handover attorneys. She advised that this is not possible. They went on as if to say I was lying.
Is this second law firm legit or has Absa given out my private details to other third parties which I have not authorized. Please ensure that this complaint is NOT SENT TO THE BRANCH, like I requested with my last complaint as the complaint had nothing to do with the branch, just like this one.
Best regards,
