INCOMPETANCE

My husband passed away on 11 September 2014. He was an ABSA client for most of his live. He had a credit card with ABSA that included the credit life insurance. I went to ABSA, handed in the death certificate & requested that the insurance be activated & settle the outstanding debt on the account.

After many 'demand' calls I lodged an complaint with ABSA in October 2014, and did not ever hear another word from them - not even in writing.

Only now to receive an email to my husband email address stating "LEGAL ALERT!! ----------- URGENT CALL */*/*/*/*/ OR EMAIL ***.

THEY ARE ALSO SENDING SMS'S TO MY DAUGHTER, WHO HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS MATTER.

I called and tried to speak to the most *********** human ever who could only confirm the request was about the credit card, I requested written documentation as to why my LATE husband had to call them, and are still waiting. Yet another sms was received today.
