******* DEBIT ORDER

<p>ABSA personal loan went and debited my account *******ly as i had not given authority. I'm currently unemplyed and took the responsibility of letting the bank know of my situation. My husband transfers a lump sum of money into my account monthly for debit orders (i.e homeloan) which unfortunately doesnt cover my p/loan as yet, this money was taken without consent. Upon calling to query this, I was called a **** and that it was their right to take my money from my account unauthorised. If i wanted to query this, I should take it up with absa action line even though the supervisor confirmed that the action was *******. After pleading with the supervisor, he said he could only reverse a portion of money debited from my account. I was left in destitude and in destress by this and no one could care less. </p> <p>I just want to let everyone know and be aware that should you find yourself in a similar situation, close your account immediately or just dont use it to transact, because whether or not you are upfront with them, they only look out for themselves not their clients.</p>
