ill-treated
I signed an agreement with ABSA HELP TO SELL division giving ABSA Mandate to Help me sell my house, Bond Account: 80-7***, indeed one of the condition on the document was that the Agent will receive 7% of the selling price if he can sell the house within a month and beyond 3 months the agent will receive 5.5%, to my surprise the agent got 7% and the offer to sell was only signed around February 2019, four months after the initial agreement with HELP TO Sell, so why pay agent 7% at my expense? The other thing is that I was never told about the cancelation fee of the bond which is not clear as to how the bank arrived at the figure and how much is the figure. The lawyers appointed to do the transfer, on their statement they had cancelation cost and the bond cancelation amount this is very confusing. On the other hand the Bank statement of February 2019 had a balance of R590 429.63, and according to the transfer statement from EFG Incorporation which is the transferring lawyers they had a bond cancelation amount at R623 287.92 this vast difference is not explained or indicated anywhere, this was never shared with me? Based on the above I believe I was ill-treated, and I request that ABSA relook at this transaction, and this in my view is misrepresentation an act of *********ness
