If you want loyalty, get a dog!

My partner and I recently approached Absa for assistance with the purchase of our first home; to our disappointment, we were provided with a rather unfavorable interest rate. We’ve been shopping around at various institutions and an institution that does not know myself or my partner from a bar of soap, provided us with exceptional interest rate! I find this to be really disappointing as we’ve both been good and loyal clients to Absa for years and now that we approach our trusted bank after all these years for assistance, they’re not willing to come to the party. Its true what they say, if you want loyalty, get a dog!
