I strongly advise against banking with ABSA or becoming a Private Wealth client.

In my experience, ABSA has made it extremely difficult for me to meet my financial obligations, even after I approached them for assistance. Despite my efforts to cooperate and enter into formal agreements with them, these were either disregarded or seemingly lost without explanation.

ABSA’s actions have undermined my ability to honour the repayment terms, and the lack of accountability or resolution suggests either an inability to correct their own errors, a concerning level of incompetence, or intentional disregard for client wellbeing.
