I stopped using my ABSA account just waiting for it to be closed automatically

In 2022 January, My vehicle was ****** with my wallets in it. Later that day I noticed that someone was trying to withdraw with my card so I went to the branch so that they can check where it was used but they didn't help me. I wanted to make a new card and they wanted my ID which was also in that wallet even after I produced an avidavit but and a copy but on my surprise when I opened a new card on another bank then just needed my ID number. ABSA is still far behind with security and technology
