I need urgent help. Call centers aren't helpful and neither are the automated VN prompts. PLEASE, the car isn't owed, and therefore it can't be still showing this status.

I bought a car financed by Absa bank in 2012. The car was paid up at the end of the contractual agreement. To my surprise, I went to the traffic department last week, 2024. The car appears as still being owned or an asset of the bank. How is it possible? Don't the system get updated?
