I need my name to be cleared

I had a credit card back in 2017 while I was still working,I lost my job but when I got another job I which was august 2019 I started paying Absa through their lawyers the deducted 800 from my account for 3 months, then I lost my job as the owner sold the place I worked at,not long ago I was told I should pay 1955,19 to settle the account, a few days later I received a call from a different dept collector to pay my credit card, I told them I have then send the proof, the same lawyer calls and say the reference number is the same I should call the other dept collectors to give me a letter to proof that I have made the payment, then I made a call to check my credit score the credit score does not show that I owe anything but when I apply for anything, they say i do not qualify....I need my name to be cleared that is all...am tired of being harassed by dept collectors
