I have to wait 9 days to get my own money back!!!

Last week Wednesday I went to an ABSA atm to withdraw the last money from my account, they deducted the money but the notes never came out of he atm, I called the call centre, they couldn't help, the next day I called again and they informed me that there was a technical error and reason on the system is \suspect\" I can go to the branch and they will refund me I went to the branch and they informed me they have to investigate (that will take up to 9 days) and confirm that I did not receive the money as if I would lie about something like that? Now I have to wait to get MY OWN KONEY BACK and my accounts can't get paid because of them????"
