Absa deceased estates is months behind. As Executor of an estate, I will have to ask for extention from the Master because Absa takes months to close the deceades account ( only a few rand in there, not hundreds of thousands) and transfer the funds to an estate late account. YET, every month they religiously charge costs on this account. Whose fault is it that they are behind? An estate that does not have money must help fund their problems. I spend money to phone and follow up!! I will never do business with Absa hereafter. Will move my grandchildrens accounts too.
