I do not have a peace of mind

on the 18th (11:36 AM) I send an email for Absa ********** to change my debit order details as I have moved to a new bank. 2 days later, no one can tell where that request is sitting. Come the 25th, and they debit my old account, who will be held liable for my bank charges on the old account cause I am 100% certain there will no funds there. Why is Absa taking 72 hours to make such a small change on an account? Other service providers were able to make chances for me on the spot. Please Absa do not tell me about backlogs, if anything goes wrong you will be held liable.

Hi Vanessa The old account is closed, I cannot see if the transaction went there, on the new account there is no debit order from Absa VAF that reflects. Regards, Godfrey
