I am extremely unhappy about my loan account that I had with ABSA

I am extremely unhappy about my loan account that I had with ABSA. It has come to my attention that my account was handed over in December 2023 and is reflecting as a default on my credit report for an amount of R11000. To my understanding I was only owing R3000 on that account in December and I had a payment arrangement in place. Please have a look at these records as this is now hindering my attempts to find a new job and hindering credit applications. I had no knowledge of this and was never informed. Please advise
