How may times must you cancel a debit order?
Since May 2015 I am experiencing some problems with my Vodacom account and due to this matter, I cancelled my debit order for Vodacom with ABSA Bank. After I cancelled the debit order the first time, in May 2015, I was assured by the bank the debit order is cancelled and I can settle the account via EFT from now onwards. To make a very long story short, tomorrow it will be the fourth (4) time I will be going into ABSA to cancel this debit order, after doing this in May, June, and July 2015. Every time Vodacom puts the debit order through, I need to go into the bank to cancel it manually and to reverse the amount debited. Can someone at ABSA for once and for all cancel this debit order for me?
