How long should I wait for my claim to me processed?

I logged a gate motor claim (claim number ***), and it was acknowledged on the 27th of December 2024. On the 2nd of January 2025, an assessor came and assessed the gate claim. That was the last time I saw any action on this claim. It is the 7th of January 2025, my claim has not been processed. I was told via an email that Gaoyadiwe Prudence Metsi will keep me posted about my claim, this has not happened.

During this rainy weather, my wife has to get off the car at night to open and close the gate thus putting her and our asserts at risk thanks to ABSA taking their time to process our claim.
