How can you repossess a car that is not in arrears. Shameful and disgraceful

I took up vehicle finance with ABSA in 2014 for a polo vivo. Last year end of November a lawyer called me saying they want to repossess my car I asked why he told me due to an outstanding balance of R4000. I asked if I can pay the full instalment plus half of the arrears he then told me he can't make that decision or tell me to go ahead since his not working for ABSA vehicle finance. So he said he will get back to me in terms of the arrangement but didn't. I called ABSA vehicle finance call centre asking for the lawyers contact number the gave me a Pretoria number and when I called that number it didn't go through I called back the bank n told them that the number is not working or going through and they told me they can't assist I need to contact the lawyer as my account is handled by him. ( Bear in mind I was still paying my monthly installments)So in December the man called me again saying he wants to repossess the car and I didn't understand how as I was waiting for him to call me back for the arrangement. So i decided to call vehicle finance seeking assistance and the consultant told me that I should pay 8400 bear in mind that the 8400 includes the monthly installment and arrears. So I went to pay the money as per my conversation with the vehicle finance consultant. So I continued paying and currently not in arrears and the car was respossed last week Friday. I went to the bank to seek assistance. So went to the branch on the 29/10/2018 I was give a number to contact a guy named Johannes he was rude and not willing to hear my side of story. So I asked him to get me the recordings but told me that can't be done because the last conversation I had with them was that the car contract was cancelled and I need to pay 123k. I asked him about the months I've been paying since December 2017 he told me I used the car so what do expect. ABSA consultants are very rude and not willing to assist. They take what the see and work with it n don't put themselves in the clients shoes. So how can a bank cancel my vehicle finance with arrears of 4900 and while the car is in good standing. The vehicle is not in arrears but the contract has cancelled. No one returned my calls when I asked to speak to a senior. I still have questions how can I pay from 2014 April and car has arrears of 123k. How much a polo vivo. The only thing this Johannes said was I need to pay 123k while the car as I speak is not in arrears. He told me about hard approve but doesn't want to help me get the recordings so I can proof I called ABSA bank asking about the lawyers number that doesn't even exist. What type of financial institution that doesn't help people. So the main aim was to cancel the contact so they can make money by selling the vehicle. The service is a disgrace. And again when the repossessed my car on Friday the guy was so ******. He didn't even give me papers to signed didn't even drop me off at home.

To continue were I left off. This so called person called Johannes didn't even bother to say I'll look into the matter and get back to me. The only record apparently on his side is that I was told that my contract cancelled and I made payment anyway. I asked him about the number I was given that doesn't exist (that I was suppose to call and make arrangements) and agent I spoke to who advised me to pay 8400 the car can be in good standing he told me I need hard evidence. ABSA has all my hard evidence ( as they say all calls are recorded for my security and protection). He had the nerve saying there is nothing that can be done I need to pay the 123k to get the car and didn't give any options. My other concern is that ABSA doesn't care about the clients only their pockets and de*****ing people. How can ABSA keep an account open allowing a client to make payments but the contract is cancelled.
