How Can I close My ABSA account because I now live abroad.

I am living abroad, and since I have now...(actual date of first email sent 15 October2018) tried to close my account. (sorry ABSA, but your monthly charges are RIDICULOUS). to date I am still holding an account ... on 18 October I thought I was getting somewhere with Linda Bidi, I was asked to make the balance zero, which I did.... and nothing..

Is there any way to close this account?

Well, it is now 07 April 2019 and guess what, the account is still active and incurring more arrears, after the initial refund of the other charges, it is still an ongoing saga for me? Please can this account be closed once and for all.
