Horrifying experience during my loss of my loved one

I joined ABSA funeral cover on January and I skipped two payments and I called to make arrangement I think in February for the arrears I was advised that they will deduct the arrears amount on my pay-out claim now when I claim they saying my waiting period has not expired from January till august .
