Honest people will always be declined ........

I pen this as i am extremely disappointed by the home loans department of ABSA.. About a month ago ,i app**** for a pre-approval to which i received a certificate for a R1.m bond with a R150k deposit.I found a home and sent through the application including an offer to purchase which was duly signed and accepted by the seller.This process continued with the Home loans dept requesting different docs through a 3 week period ,to which i comp****.The seller sent me an ultimatum of 48hrs to respond and to give feed back as to what the outcome of the application was or they would now go with offer B.On the 21 July 2022 i get an email saying i was declined due to my expenses that exceeded my income. This is ridiculous as i earn more than R38k a month.I have bmw financed by ABSA and i have a 2nd finance from ABSA on a different vehicle to which i have not signed as yet although approved.I am a tenant that pays R11500.00 per month for my flat and how come was this not taken into consideration.Ive been paying rent for the last 12 years and never missed a payment and now when i want to purchase a home,im told i cant afford it.IM an honest working man who cant buy a home .....is this a race thing...My surname is Thomas.....People can get away with *****ing R128m but the bank wont give me R815000.
