Home loan adjustment

Between 09h10 – 09h20 AM on 12 Jan 2017 I made a phone call (Call Ref no. ********** 8) to ask for a 5% increase in monthly repayment for 2017 for the remainder of the year effective 01 Feb 2017. That would change (I it was confirmed like this) reduce my remaining term from the current 20 yrs and 5 months to 17 yrs and 5 months.

The issue is this; only for Feb it went of on the larger payment on my debit order (only that ONE month) and then it went back to the original debit order amount.

Is this because the bank don't like it if I pay back my home loan quicker? I hope that's not the case.

Please fix.

In Jan 2018 I will call again and it will be increased with 5% again and again to pay my house back as quickly as possible.

Thank you in advance for fixing this. I'm sure you will.
