Holding client money to ransom

ABSA today refused to allow me to make payments via their online banking system until I accepted their new Personal Client Agreement. ABSA had failed to notify clients of this new agreement in advance, instead deciding to force it through online while clients are trying to make urgent payments.

The agreement itself contains errors and some wonderful new rules - like the one where they can choose which communication channel they wish to use when communicating with clients, allowing them to assume that the SA postal service has delivered legal notices within 4 days. Really? What world does ABSA live in? So they can freeze our accounts, take cash from our accounts, move money around as they please, and just pop a piece of paper into a failed postal system, not caring whether the client ever receives it or knows what is happening on their accounts?

Where clients have supp**** email addresses, in an attempt to get around the SA postal system, banks should be forced to use these addresses for all communication which the client has agreed to accept electronically.

This piece of one sided fascist gibberish wasted half an hour of my time. Will ABSA be paying me for my time?
