So here we are again ...... I am not trying to close my ABSA business account because I have closed the business and now reside in the UK I am paying over R450 to keep the account open and have emailed my business banker three times over two months and he says it cannot be closed during the pandemic unless someone goes to a branch I have given a friend signing rights but am not prepared to ask her to go to the bank when the government is pleading with us to stay home Why can’t I sign documents and cancel online I have managed to do this with Bidvest? So now ABSA are you going to pay my account banking fees until you can close it ? Please can you close this account Please Not cellphone number is UK You can email me, you have my details

Dear Customer Thank you for bringing this unfortunate matter to my attention and please accept my sincere apology. May i ask for some clarity, beginning of your email says you are not trying to close your business account and, at the end of your reporting you need us to assist with closure therefore i am not sure whether you want account to be closed or remain open.

Also please provide us with your business account number.
