Help that is not available

I am a client who has been with Absa many years, I have hadn't high's and lows with the service over the years and I still stayed because it's a bank I grew up using and the change is just not on my mind. I have debts with Absa, other financial institutions and retail accounts, over the years I lost control of my finances due to income loss, losing my husband and my house got really damaged and I had to take loans on top of other loans to get it fixed. So things really spiralled out of control, I can afford to meet my debt obligations, I'm behind on my accounts and I'm struggling to make ends meet. I have went to Absa too many times before I even fell into arrears that I would like to consolidate with a normal personal loan or do a balance transfer, I was declined over and over again, I was told about low system offer or my score being low and affordability. I even went as far as trying to restructure the loans with Absa and I was still declined, that really didn't help with my situation. I came to the bank because I wanted to raise my financial concerns before we start with the cat and mouse chase trying to collect your money but instead I was made to feel that help is there but not for people like me, but for people who have less debts, excellent credit score and who are not financially distressed. All I ever wanted was financial freedom even though it was gonna come with conditions, to me it showed that help is there but for people who don't really need it. I really wish you could extend your help to people who are in a real need.
