Health and safety

I faill to understand how the OHSACT and the MHSACT differs, today it happened for me to go to Absa bank kathu, that i had to deposit money but due to the constructions in the bank, i had to leave because of my health and safety. People are grinding, welding, painting and carpentry work and all sorts of renovations, so i was sneezing and not only me but other clients too. So i want clarity if the health and safety of the people are being compromised for the sake of money or whatsoever? Do we deserve such treatment?

Good day

I recieved a call on monday from Absa Kathu Branch manager Brian Molete, he apologisedfor the inconvenience but however he also added that they did send sms's to members of the branch and they will not repeat the same mistake with their next project which will take place soon in Kuruman. It's the responsibility of the employer and contractors to make sure that the environment is free of harm. Thank you Mr Brian Molete and hope you will keep you promises. All the best in your next renovations. Keep on doing the good work Mr Peter, if it wasn't for you this would've never been possible.
