Handed over to lawyers when it’s ABSA that hasn’t done things correctly.

I have been handed over to lawyers when ABSA hasn’t actioned a payment after 2Weks. I have had vehicle finance for a year. Last month, November 1st, I missed my debit order. I was only able to make payment on the 25 November. I received an sms saying still outstanding so I contact ABSA and spoke to a consultant. I was advised to forward proof of payment to her and she cc me in on email she forwarded to relevant people. I was not able to make the debit order for the 1st this month but planned to have caught up by mid month. So only presently 8 days late. I have now been handed over to lawyers for collection of 2 months. Spoke again to ABSA this morning and was told, when the lawyers call you can forward them POP. When lawyers contacted, they said it’s my problem and ABSA need to action it. I explained I could send her my POP from the 25th and was told it had to be done on ABSA’s side. So back and forth I go. PS. The lady from the collection attorney was rude and would let me finish speaking.
