Handed over to attorneys by Absa for an account that has never been in arrears!!!

I have an ACTIVE cheque account with Absa which has NEVER been in arrears. However, they felt that it was funny to hand me over to MBD Attorneys! Please damn explain to me how an active account that has never been in arrears can be handed over to the attorneys?!!? Absa cannot tell me who sen this instruction and their call centre agents are EXTREMELY useless!!!!! The attorneys are threatening me with further legal action if I do not pay R1080.44 in banking fees to Absa on active account which has NEVER been in arrears! How the hell is that even possible! This affects my credit rating and Absa doesn't seem to care much about that! ABSOLUTELY USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM ABSA!!! The branch did try and assist- they did their best but the call centre is a complete waste of time! Absa has failed to provide me with any form of communication regarding this issue.
