Gross Ethical Violation of Human Rights and Dignity
Below, is the email I sent on the 11 April 2023, to The National Consumer Commission and a follow up email I sent on the 21 April 2023, regarding gross violation of Human Rights. I first called and I was advised to write an email to date I have not received any response.
Good day
I have no words to describe the appalling bad service an elderly man who is disabled was blatantly refused service at ABSA bank in Pretoria North. I am here at the bank today on 11th April 2023, shortly after I arrived at 14h30 and Mr TA Ramputla came in, he approached the lady who was conducting a queue and was ordered to take a seat.
As I witnessed how he was addressed, his Constitutional rights and dignity were grossly violated. I confronted the lady to alert her of the elderly man's condition and she said she will attend to him, hitherto he's still not attended to. I have just called your offices now and I spoke to Mr Majird, not certain if I am pronouncing it correctly.
He advised that I send an email about this excruciatingly painfully experience.
I would appreciate your counsel and advise on how Mr Ramputa can get a recourse. We cannot stand and fold our arms when such atrocities are perpetuated at our elders. In hindsight look at what is happening in our country and globally. It is such despicable behaviours that destroy what our Constitution is striving to achieve.
Your headship will be appreciated immensely.
Kind regards
Good day
