Gold Cheque Doesn't Support Online Shopping

<p>I'm quite confused but more annoyed. I went into the bank to get an embossed card because my Gold Cheque can't do online transactions. I called someone two weeks ago who confirmed that if I wanted to do online transactions, I needed to get an embossed card. Today I went into the bank because with ABSA you can't order a card online - in 2016. Then I was told that the branch had no available cards to give me - and I am not stuck without a card - and then the consultant also said that getting an embossed card won't allow for online transactions. Only a credit card. In 2016, which bank DOESN'T have a cheque card with full online capabilities? The consultant then told me only credit cards can do that. Which information is correct? I've been told different things by several people and feel like just going back to FNB.</p>
