Going back on their promise - 141 Mitchell street
Just before the transfer for the house we bought cash from MyRoof ABSA helpmesell, I sent pictures to their attorneys as well as ABSA. The property was not the same as they advertised and I told them it was in a bad shape after it was vandalised by homeless people or people looking for s**** to sell. The wiring and DB board was ripped out of the walls and roof, taps and piping was ripped out of the walls and broken out of the baths and basin and toilets.I received a letter from ABSA's attorneys handling the sale that they agreed to refund us.They did not give a time frame or an specific amount. I sent ABSA and their attorneys the invoices (we did not even include the labour nor the paint). Suddenly they refuse to pay according to Tanja Willemse of ABSA because the seller needed to pay us back. ABSA just wanted the sale to go through, that is why they made the empty promises. We want our money that they promised. They had security on the property but even with that, people got onto the property and vandalised it, that is why we wanted to occupy the property before it was transferred onto our name. If I do not get my money back, I will take this further to the Bank Ombudsman and FB
