So I complained about my geyser having no preasure, the thermostat being faulty and the water leaking out through my overflow. After waiting almost a week again, plumbers arrived at my residence on 2017/04/06 at 17:00 to repair my geyser. They replaced the thermostat and filter in the pipes that casued the problem with the preassure due to excessive rust in the old pipes. Thank you we now have hot water and presure. Yet the original problem of water leaking through the overflow was not repaired. And once again I had to pay them R250 for the excess!!!! Or they would not repair the geyser. This is getting ridiculous to say the least. I will try to include videos of how much water is being wasted daily through my overflow, that I have to pay for mind you and the re-use of sooooo much cold water daily is impossible, even though I do catch the water in buckets and use it on plants or toilets etc. A person can only use so much cold water per day!!!! Now the plumbers last night told me that the geyser is way too old and needs to be replaced along with the pipes that is so full of rust it will soon block the nwe filter they have replaced and block my preasure again, but they also added that ABSA will not grant permission to replace the geyser because it did not burst and it is not leaking??? Now my question is, will I have to pay R250 every couple of days for people to keep on repairing a geyser that Ive been told by plummers more than twice needs to be replaced for the problems to end!?!?! Why am I paying homeowners insurance then??? Is this the type of service ABSA provides. I now we've been reduced to rubish status and I can see why! I have now payed R1250.00 over a period of +- 5 months for repairs, that excludes how much I pay for the wasted water!!! I'm raving mad and seriously upset. I need my geyser and pipes replaced and with NEW pipes and a new geyser. I cannot and will not continue to pay for plumbers that only temporarily solve SOME of the complaints. Mind you in the videos attached where the water streams out the overflow the geyser is not even on, it is switched off so it cannot even be said that the temperature is set too high and I checked that they set the new thermostat at exactly 60°. Please please can someone help!?!?
