GAVE SETTLEMENT AMOUNT, KEEP ON SENDING STATEMENTS

Ihad ana account for a car finance with this bank, unfourtunately the car was involved in an accident, then it was ritten off by the insurance, so the insurance they requested settlement amount from ABSA , then they paid it up, i went to the bank to check if the insurance did pay them,, they confirmed that it was paid on the 09 october 2015, m only left with 3450.00 as the balance which was understandable to me, on the 16 october they send a statement that m still owing them 46 thousand and some cents<br> <br> where does this amount come from now? is it how they chow money from client, why why why?<br> <br> please help me in this regard
