Funeral cover unpaid no burial how unjust

I cannot believe this. My father has been paying funeral cover since 2005, he passes away and ABSA refuses to pay due to the fact that he doesn't have a named beneficiary. I now have no way of paying for our fathers funeral. They have been happy to take his money monthly and Surely if a beneficiary is required they would have asked for one? I have requested a copy of the call and they cannot come up with it until it is too late. We take this cover to help our families in their time of need however it feels ABSA is there to ***** us.
