Funds Release

A bit more than 5 years ago and being a small time builder I had to give NHBRC a guarantee for just over R70 000. In Nov 2019 that guarantee expired so early Jan 2020 I went to the local branch in Musina with all the paperwork. I was helped there and told it would take about a week to release the money. After 3 weeks and numerous inquiries I still did not come right so I wrote to the complaints dept. They investigated and sent me the following reply: "Good Day We refer to your complaint with reference number C-***9. I am currently investigating your complaint and will contact you on or before the 2020/02/10 4:00 PM with further feedback. Yours Sincerely Complaints Resolution Suite I answered on that complaining the deadline set by themselves is 7 days overdue and now just silence. My biggest issue with all this is that since Jan 2020 I was in a position to pay off big debt that cost my R8000 a month on interest, but a need that guarantee money. So, ABSA now already caused me to loose R8000 and we are heading towards end of Feb and then it will be R16000. Please, do something...
