Frustration
Absa advertise about doing things differently but their home loans department is still doing the same thing they did for the last 100 years. No way our people will move forward when your banks criteria is as back dated as the middle ages. Talk about diversity? Not really. I could purchase a house thats worth 1,5 million rand for just R1 000 000 with all my debts paid up by the seller so that me and my wife can just focus on the bond. The seller is my wife's father and he wants to give us a head start in life by helping us but unfortunately our banking system is from the middle ages. They all, especially absa, talk the big talk but they don't walk the walk. Its really disappointing that we are so far behind. It's just sad
