FRUSTRATED & DISAPPOINTED

<p> I have been an Absa member since 2007, and i have been working for the same company for the past 3 years. My salary gets paid in my absa account and i have 3 accounts with ABSA including the savings account. im a foreigner and i used to have a study permit but since 2014 im using an asylum because my work permit is pending in home affairs. I requested a personal loan from ABSA to purchase a vehicle and my bank just said NO because im using an asylum. I found it so insulting an inhuman. They have all my faithful records in their system (rent payment, electricity, tithe payment on time) and they dont want to provide me with a loan to purchase my car. If ABSA that i have been using since i put my feet here in south africa can't assist me which bank will? i went to standard bank and they advised me that they could help me with the asylum if i could have at least 6months banking with them and my salary being paid to them. Im very disappointed with ABSA and i wish my accounts to be close from them </p>
