Frustrated by ABSA

Bad service from ABSA Vehicle Finance

I purchased a vehicle from EAE Vereeniging, financed through ABSA Vehicle Finance. I was never informed that an optional aftermarket warranty from Innovation Group would be included and financed as part of my agreement.

I only discovered the warranty after the first instalment was debited. I requested cancellation immediately and was told it was done, yet the charge continues.

ABSA says Innovation Group must reverse the amount, while Innovation Group refuses to reinstate the warranty or refund me. I am paying for a service that is not being provided.

I have escalated this to the Insurance Ombudsman with no response and have been sent from pillar to post by the dealer and ABSA.

Very disappointing service. I would not recommend ABSA Bank People should look for alternative vehicle finance
