Frustrated and disapointed
I have been an Absa client since I was at University. I completed my degree and opened my business account with Absa. So I have basically been an Absa client for almost 3 decades. I app**** for Covid 19 funds for my business.I am trading as a sole prop healthcare professional. The Government SMME relief fund excludes sole props which is unfair because I am a Sounth African Citizen just like the ****a shop owner who qualifies for this fund but I as a professional who is registered with the HPCSA and pays registration fee Annually I dont qualify for the relief fund because I'm not registered with CPIC .I wrote to Absa to assist on the 22rd April after realising that Government will not even consider me .Natasha Pather responded to my email at Absa requesting my bank account number so that they see what they can structure for me , I responded and since then no more communication received from her.I have been sending follow up emails to which there has'nt been a single response. I was approved for SAFT of R11250 to pay my employee but for myself there's no assistance. I have medical aid , utilities , business rent and food to pay for. With not being able to get income I wont be able to survive yet I'm given a loan to pay my employee. It just feels like I dont matter to my bank nor to this Government
