Frozen account

I have Absa account, I have apply for my permit since July which I'm still waiting, they have sent me money for school and my rent on Monday, today morning I went to withdraw the money I was have problem so I went to the branch of Absa , I bring my passport, proof of address and the slip that show that I'm waiting for my permit.... They said there's nothing they can do, my permit is going to expire tomorrow but Absa block my account before the expiring day ... So disappointed
