********** transactions

On the 26.02.2020, I went to ABSA Trade Route and reported my cards and Cellphone was ****** (it was on the day of the event) after opening a case at the police station as I was ****** in the morning. I reported the incident at the branch as I did not have a cellphone to call and stop accounts, I was told that my accounts were frozen before I left the branch. ********** transactions took place on my account from the 27.02.2020 till date, ********** are still trying to remove money from it, yet I put a stop to all internet and cellphone banking as well as cards. On the 03.03.2020 ABSA Trade route filled in documents to report the ********** transactions and they said they stopped all accounts-I only realized my accounts were not stopped on this day when I had no money in my accounts- (Credit card and savings account). When I phoned ABSA ***** division to do a follow up it was said that my accounts were not frozen and they were very concerned and they froze it. If that was done, How is it that the ********** were able to try and transact a further R500.00 on the 06.03.2020 via cellphone banking. I picked this up after I did my sim swapI am very unsatisfied that their staff members have not been trained to handle such situations. It also makes me question the integrity of ABSA towards the clients.
