I wish I NEVER opened an account with Absa, the charges are ridiculous. I got charged over R300 for making payments with MY OWN CARD. I then decided to never use the account again from then onwards and now I am being harassed because my account is “overdrawn” when I have not used it in months and even threw the card away and sent an email for the account to be closed.

It’s so pathetic because I opened my account online and they do not show all these charges because I never would have opened an account with them had I known they are such *****s. Why would you get charged for an account you’re not even using is beyond me! I would NEVER recommend Absa to anyone
