My policy premium is R509,00 per month. This amount was deducted on 01/08/2021 and was refunded back to my account for no reason, Absa cited reason insufficient fund yet there was more than enough funds. I even have statement as proof that there were funds. This has resulted in charges for unpaid debits, which is and was unnecessary and unfair financially. Even worse now the policy is in arrears which is not my fault , and now Absa is sending me messages that they will deduct that money on the 25th of August. Where do they think that money is going to come from because I get paid on the last day of the month. What they are planning to do is putting me into further financial stress because they will charge again unpaid debit penalty which was unnecessary from the beginning. I want that R150,00 unpaid debit fees paid back because it's not my fault they reversed the money. And this is becoming a habit with Absa to intentionally reverse payments so that they charge unpaid penalty fees.
