My aunt had an account with ABSA a d also had a funeral cover with them, she had always used Absa as her bank, then one day when I had chip issues with her bank card, as I was the one handling her Financials, we went to Absa and found out that her funeral cover lapsed, but Nevertheless she started another one, she made a debit order arrangement that Absa didn't follow, I sent an email to Absa informing them that it clear that her funeral cover lapsed because of their incompetancy, then they debited. Unfortunately in three months time as she started paying them, she de missed and her death Certificate is written Unnatural Death, and ABSA is refusing to pay my causin as the beneficiary as my aunt's death is declared as Unnatural because they say they view it as Natural based on the report they have, the Death Certificate is clear but they are refusi g to pay.
