Funny how ABSA runs debit orders without our knowledge. And then when you tell them that you don't know this company and that they should reverse the debit order, they still charge you R30. Imagine the ton of money they making off this debit cancelations, and still they are way behind from **********. What's the point of having banks if our money is not a secured. I am sick and tired of having to do this reversal every time. ABSA is currently doing nothing to stop this from occurring again. All they tell you is that you must come to the bank and do a reversal.

The lady at the branch did not tell me anything about filling out a form, she just said I must keep on coming back to reverse the debit orders. I do not understand that because every time I reverse a debit order ABSA charges me R30. In fact I'm considering closing all my accounts with ABSA now. Tell me what are you currently doing in order to prevent this from happening? Instead of making me go to the branch to reverse debit orders and filling out forms. What controls or measures are planning to put in place to prevent this?
