***** case

On the 1st of December 2022 a cashsend of 1500 was sent from my account. I did not receive any message notifying me of this transaction,neither did i receive a withdrawal pin as the cash send was sent as if it was coming to my number. I only realised money had gone off after i checked my balance. I then logged a ***** case with ABSA and was told to open a ***** case abd write an affidavit ,i informed the investigator that i would only be able to do that the following week as i was swamped with work. On the 31st of Novemeber i had app**** for a limit increase on my credit card on my cellphone banking. An SMS was received that i will be notified when it has been approved. On the 5th of Decemeber i was received a suspicious sms from a ********** number indicating that i should send my 3 months payslip as my credit card limit increase has been provisionaly approved. I then called the investigator to find out if the numbers and email from the sms were genuine this was after i had received an sms from ABSA ***** that will not continue with my case until i submitted the case number and affidavit. When i enquired with the investigator she told me she could not tell whether the sms was legit or not and directed me to ABSA *****. It was confirmed that the credit limit increase sms was sent from a ********** number and the agent also confirmed that the sms could have been linked to the ********** cash send ,how possible is it that someone would know that i have app**** for a credit limit increase if they did not have access to my telephone banking. Today at 16:15 i received a call from the investigator that my case has been conclude,how when i have not even submitted my case number and affidavit. She told me that Absa is not liable for the 1500 lost in my account. What proof can absa provide that i indeed sent the 1500 to my number and that i did receive the withdrawal pin on my number. 1500 is a lot of money,i need absa to prove that i indeed received the money. This shows that this cases are linked
