***** Against Me - Yvette Few

Thursday 16 July 2020 I've opened an account with ABSA at Mall@ Carnival, although the consultant who assisted me is from the Sunward Park branch. Friday 17 July 2020 I went back to the branch to register for ABSA Banking App, which was done successfully at Customer services. The reason for the new account is, my mother passed away and I claimed for the funeral policy which I am the main member. This was done successfully. Accounts linked to my portfolio was the Flexi account, credit card, funerals plan. Tuesday 21 July 2020 just before 17h00 , I went onto my Absa App to see if the money ( funeral plan) was paid in, which was not. I then transferred R50 000 from the credit card linked to my new flexi account. Then I transferred the R50K to my Capitec account ( in my name). The transaction didn't go threw, and within seconds a guy from Absa ***** department ( ***) phoned me @ 16h52. He asked me to verify all security questions, which was answered correctly. And he said I can continue with the transaction, everything was in order. Later the same evening I went onto my Capitec App but my main account did not reflect, I phoned Capitec ( ***) @ 18h20 to query and the lady confirmed there's a hold on the account due to Absa *****. At 18h38 I phoned Absa ***** Department again and the lady confirmed that a ***** case has been opened against my account. No notification has been send to me from Absa that my account has been blocked or on hold or that I have to visit the branch The person who made the case against is Mr ES Few ( my estranged husband) who doesn't want me to access any funds, so I am left with nothing. Our bond account is in both our names and he access funds from the Flexi reserve. Today @ 13h19 I called Absa ***** department @ *** and spoke to Aagila, to find out the progress of the case. She told me that the investigator tried to contact me today and the person could not get hold of me and left a message. I asked her to confirm the number which was use to call me, which she said *** or the ***. I told her I received a call from *** @ 11h24 which I had to reject because at that moment I was busy with the Clicks pharmacy assistant with regards to my daughters medication. But I never received any message from anyone at Absa. She changed her story and said the investigator called and send a message to the person who reported the *****. This is now 3 day's and I cant access my accounts which is not fair. Can you please assist in this case. If you need more personal information I will give you the reason why mr Few is taking this action.

Good morning Daphne
Thank you for your response,
As per your promise, your turnaround time of 4 hours is not promisible :
  1. Then you would have responded by 02h15 am,
  2. It is weekend
  3. The investigator might not work during weekends
  4. The ***** call centre does not have enough information to provide or maybe they are not allowed to give any information,
  5. Absa's SLA is 3 working day's,
  6. My complaint/ request expired yesterday.

I have to feed, medicate my children and myself , but have no access to funds due to both my accounts ( Absa & Capitec) is on hold.
I appreciate your assistance in this regard

Thanks
