My ID was used at an absa bank to ********** apply for a credit card of which the application was successful. I only got to learn about this incident when I received numerous calls from the call center telling me that I need to pay back my credit card as it is in erasers. I then went to absa branch in Witbank, I spoke to one of the consultants explaining the situation and showed my current ID and the affidavit. She then told me she will refer the matter to absa ***** services. Till to date I have not received any feedback. I have been calling the numbers given by the Safps with no luck, I even sent an email still no answer.
